Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling on its own is a powerful treatment, but when combined with PRP, it transforms into a supercharged skin revitalizer. Here’s how it works:

1. Microneedling: This technique uses ultra-fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries in your skin. These micro-injuries stimulate your skin’s natural healing process, boosting collagen and elastin production for firmer, smoother skin.

2. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is derived from your own blood and is rich in growth factors that accelerate healing and enhance tissue regeneration. When applied to the skin after microneedling, PRP penetrates deeply, amplifying the rejuvenating effects and promoting faster, more effective results.

With each session, your skin will transform, becoming noticeably brighter, firmer, and more even-toned. The combined power of microneedling and PRP delivers results that are not only impressive but also long-lasting. It’s like giving your skin a fresh start, with the added benefit of nature’s most potent healing elixir

The Experience

Microneedling with PRP is a popular skin rejuvenation treatment that combines the benefits of traditional microneedling with the healing properties of PRP. This procedure is designed to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance by stimulating collagen production and enhancing the skin’s natural healing process.

Procedure Overview:

Consultation

The process begins with a consultation to assess your skin concerns and determine if microneedling with PRP is suitable for you. This treatment is ideal for addressing issues like fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone.

Preparation

On the day of the procedure, a small amount of your blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the rest of the blood components. Meanwhile, the skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort.

Microneedling

Using a microneedling device, the practitioner creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production.

Application of PRP

Once the microneedling is complete, the PRP is applied to the treated area. The micro-channels created by the microneedling allow the PRP to penetrate deeply into the skin, enhancing the healing process and boosting the overall results.

Post-Treatment Care

After the procedure, the skin may appear red and feel slightly sensitive, similar to a mild sunburn. Most of these effects subside within 24 to 48 hours. Patients are advised to avoid direct sun exposure and follow any aftercare instructions provided by the practitioner.

Results

Improvements in skin texture and tone can typically be seen within a few weeks, with continued enhancement over several months as collagen production increases. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results.
